Charisma Carpenter

Charisma Carpenter (born July 23, 1970) is an American actress. Cordelia Chase was a character on Buffy the Vampire's supernatural drama series (1997-1999), and the spin-off series Angel (1999-04). Also, she starred as Kyra in Charmed (2004) and Kendall Casablanca's in Veronica Mars (2005-2006), Rebecca Sewell in The Lying Game (2012-2013) as well as Lacy in The Expendables film series (2010-2012). Carpenter was born in Las Vegas, Nevada,[disputed - discuss] and was the daughter of Christine who was a bird sanctuary worker as well as Don Carpenter, a salesman. Carpenter is of Spanish, French, and German origin (from her maternal grandfather). Carpenter was a student at Bishop Gorman High school located in Las Vegas. She moved to Los Angeles in 1992. In 1991, Henry Hubbard Jr. attacked her and two of her male buddies while they were swimming in San Diego. He was an ex- San Diego cop and serial rapist who tried to subdue them using a gun. Her friends as well as Hubbard were killed during the fight. Hubbard fled the scene but both of her companions were saved. Hubbard was convicted and sentenced to 56 years imprisonment for a series of rapes and as well as robberies. Carpenter had brought Hubbard his police-issue flashlight on the beach. He left it on the beach. This flashlight would become an important evidence piece against Hubbard.
