Kari Matchett Biography

Kari Matchett is an Canadian actress who is most well-known for her roles in films such as "Apartment Hunting,  Men with Brooms The Tree of Life.' Her birthplace was in Spalding (Saskatchewan) and then moved to Alberta, Canada where she graduated from high school. Acting was something she learned about during her teens. She was a student at the National Theatre School' in Montreal. Then, she went to the Moscow Theatre School. In 1996, she played a support role in the Canadian series called "The Rez." She was a part of shows like 'Forever Knight' "Ready or Not?" and many others in the in the same year. In the late 1990s, she made her debut in film in the form of the film "Papertrail" and later appeared in films like "Men with Brooms" and "Cypher." She also played supporting roles on shows such as 'A Nero Wolfe Mystery,' and Blue Murder. Although she was appearing in films during the decade of 2000 and beyond however, her screen appearances were not as prominent as her TV appearances. She also played the character in the role of Colleen Blessed in the 1998 Canadian drama series "Power Play. The show was on for two seasons and 26 episodes and was praised by critics and advertisers. For her part in the show, she was nominated to the Gemini Award. Jude Lyon Matchett was her first child. She didn't disclose the name or father of her son. According to some reports,, her ex-boyfriend is her father. Kari Matchett met T.W. Peacocke met Kari Matchett around the late 1990s. They began dating and were married in 1998. The marriage, however, did not last long and the couple split in the year 2006.
